Woodland Indiands
The Woodland Indians lasted from 1000 B.C. to A.D. 1000. They were also the Indians to invent the bow and arrow. The bow and arrow help them hunt their prey easier from a long distance and help them not get hurt by their prey. The Woodland Indians also improved potter by making the structure more stronger and they also made several designs on them. During the Woodland period, it was also known that the women owned the children and not the men. They also built many mounds and there is an area that contains 8 mounds in southwest Georgia. That area is called the Kolomoki Mounds.
