Spread of BAptist and Methodist Church in GEorgia
During the American Revolution many churches were destroyed during battles and one of the most important church than many Georgians had attended was the Church of England. The Church of England was burnt down by the British and so many Georgians were upset over what had happened. Because of this tragic event, many churches were then in the process of being rebuilt. So new types of religions were practiced and that is where Baptist and Methodist Churches were made. The people started practcing their religion in Baptist and Methodist churches for a substitute of the Church of England.
