PALEo Indians
The Paleo Indians are sometimes referred as the Clovis People. The name Paleo comes from the Greek word "palaios", meaning ancient. They had inhabited southwestern United States and northern Mexico between 10,000 to 40,000 years. They had become extinct around 9,000 years ago. They were the first nomadic group to colonize North America. They are also known for inventing spears.
