Louisville
Louisville served as the state's third state capital from 1796 to 1807 which is a total of 10 years. It had all started when the Georgia citizens wanted to improve their state's commercial prosperity after the American Revolution. The state legislators had demanded an area in the western area off of Savannah and so Louuisville was settled in the western part of Georgia. The capital was named LOuisville because they had named after the King of France in honor to him because he was an ally to the United States.
