Land ownership
Land ownership in Georgia had more freedoms during the royal colony than during the Trustee Period. During the Royal Colony, people who had at least 50 acres could have the right to vote. Also, the people in Georgia that had more than 500 acres of land were able to become a member of the assembly. The assembly members could write or vote on bills before the bills were to become laws. People that had 50 acres of land were in the lower house wile the more rich people that had 500 acres of land were in the upper house.
