University of georgia
The University of Georgia was made on January 27, 1785. The university was actually established in 1801 when a committee board trusted selected a land site. The university graduated its first class in 1804. The curriculum of traditional class studies was also broadened in 1843. When the colege was first in it's developing stage, it was given 20,000 acres to be built on. The university was soon then chartered as a land grant university in 1785.
